“LTTE Nationalism Narrow”

NEW DELHI “Narrow nationalism is the main problem of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelem,” Prachanda said when asked if he had any advice for the LTTE and the Sri Lankan Government on the direction towards a peace agreement in the island nation Mr.Prachanda revealed that the CPN (M) had sent a delegation to learn from the Sri Lankan situation, but had found that the LTTE had little political ideology in it. He didn’t say when exactly the delegation had traveled to Sri Lanka. “They (the LTTE) have a narrow nationalist standpoint,” he said.
